Q: When is the comic updated?
A: Every Monday and Thursday.
Q: Why did you call the comic "Insert Life Here"?
A: Back when I first started drawing I was as reclusive as one could get at a tech school. The comics were an attempt for me to get out, see the sketchiness of the world, and write about it. I tried to in a sense "get a life" and used the comics as a backdrop for it. So I put my life here...in the comics. Well that and I thought it sounded kinda cool.
Q: Are the people in your comic real?
A: Yes, every comic is based on real events. The people are real, the events are real, and the hallucinations are real...well at the time they are.
Q: Can I meet these people?
A: That's called stalking, and society frowns on that. Then again, there's always Facebook, since that's NOT A FORM OF STALKING AT ALL! Insert Life Here has a
facebook group if you'd like to meet the actual characters.
Q: Can I be in the comic?
A: No, unless you run across the RIT campus in flames to get my attention...second thought. No, don’t do that. That would hurt. And I would get sued.
Q: How long does it take to do a comic?
A: About 4-5 hours. I draw the six panels out, scan them in, go over them once in Adobe Illustrator and then color them in Photoshop CS2.
Q: Is there merchandise available?
A: Not yet, but show interest and it'll be sure to come.
Q: Where do you go to college?
A: Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY.
